- Are you the same people that ran cosfu.net?
Nope. The admins to cosfu.org were longtime members of cosfu.net, but with the blessing of the former admin, we branched off to re-establish the cosfu name to be more than what it was. We believe that cosfu has a potential to be a leading site in con coverage.
- Do I have to sign up to the forums?
You don’t have to sign up to see *most* of the content in the forums, but you cannot post unless you sign up. Also, we have a members-only section, a residual from the old cosfu.net site that makes cosfu what it is.
- Are you the same snarky site?
Yes and no. Because cosfu was originally a snark site, we still preserved the good fun of snark, with several restrictions. We will not allow bashing of people based on their race, religion, gender, sexuality, etc. There are other sites you can bash someone for that, and this isn’t one of them. If you want to snark on someone in the *MEMBERS-ONLY* board, be prepared to get it right back at you.
- How do you even pay for this?
We paid for this mostly out of pocket, but we have several generous members contribute to helping pay for the cost of our forums. Without them, we wouldn’t be where we are, so thank you to them! We’ll likely set up a donation button in the near future if you wish to contribute, but as of now, we’re good on donations.
- Can I write a con review?
Sure you can! If you’re going to be going to a con that the staff will not be able to attend, we would love to publish your experience. To be featured on the front page, please email the admins your review so we can proofread and publish your post. Who knows, something might be in it for you!
- Can I advertise/affiliate on your site?
Once we get ourselves up and running, we will be accepting ads that will be featured in the right sidebar. Please keep your eyes peeled for any announcements on the front page, our facebook page, or our twitter when that will be opened.
- If I sign up for the main front page, does it also apply to the forums?
No 
. You have two options, if you want to leave comments on the front page articles, you’ll need to sign up for an account directly there. If you want to post on the forum, you’ll have to sign up again. You don’t need to sign up for both, you can always pick and choose!
